This past Sunday we went to get our Christmas tree. We originally had intended to go into the forest again to cut down our tree, but there’s quite a lot of snow in the mountain areas and we just weren’t feeling up for the trek. Picking up a tree at the local hardware store or nursery wasn’t really appealing either. After all, going out to cut down our Christmas tree is just what we do. We ended up going to a local Christmas tree farm right here in Oliver and next door to some lovely friends of ours. If you’re looking for a Christmas tree I highly recommend checking out the Firkinham Forest, 7113 Meadows Drive in Oliver. They’re open until December 21st, 9am-4pm. There isn’t really any signs, so just look for the address and the little wooden Christmas Tree at the driveaway. They have a small tree farm but the setting is quiet and lovely, the perfect way to enter into the holiday season. We ended up getting a lovely Blue Spruce tree.
Sarah is really into having “Frozen” styled hair, so this photo is just for her reference, ha ha.
Thanks to Bryan (the owner of the Christmas tree farm) for taking our family photo with our Christmas tree
